A 140%-enlarged art-piece rendition of the Silvertone Model 1457, built as a 5-string bass for musician Mark Greenberg. Masonite-and-pine body with black nitrate finish, silver-sparkle vinyl wallpaper edging and white masonite pickguard, maple neck, single bass pickup. Oversized proportions but reported to play and sound well. Hand-built in Chicago; commission pricing (one-off).
