5-string · 5
Revival of Fender's discontinued Bass V (1965-1970). 34" scale but tuned with a higher C string (rather than a low B); short-neck design with a 10th-fret body join solves upper-register clearance. Ash body, book-matched quilted maple top, quilted maple neck, Macassar ebony board, split single-coil, Hipshot 5-string bridge. Hand-built in Chicago. Neck-joint type not stated.
