Introduced in 1997 and the model the shop is known for: a 34-inch semi-hollow fretless with hollow wings around a solid centre block, giving upright warmth with solid-body punch. 1-5/8" nut, .750" bridge spacing, Hipshot Ultralite tuners, La Bella 760N black nylon tapewound strings, celluloid nitrate body binding. Around 6.5 lbs. Rob Allen builds to order and publishes no list price; $4,750 is the lowest currently-listed in-stock example. Handbuilt in Fillmore, California.
