A whamola, not a bass guitar: a single-string upright lever bass, played standing with a stick while a lever bends the string's pitch — the instrument Les Claypool made famous. Version 2.0 adds an extended range via a taller peg leg, a second bridge for playing beneath it, an anodised lever, a hood-ornament topper, a brushed aluminium finish and a wenge hardwood fingerboard. Aluminium and wood body, P-Bass style pickup, a single .050" long-scale bass string, height adjustable from 4'3" to 4'10", playable left- or right-handed, bass stick included. Stage-tested on New Year's Eve 2024. Built in Sebastopol, California.
