Hybrid version of the MK2 5 - the same swamp-ash, 11-piece maple/poplar neck-through platform but with a handmade Jones/Armstrong humbucker and the Flexcore Pope 3-band active EQ instead of the standard MK2's Multicoil pickups and Calistan filter preamp. Black hardware. Handmade to order (~8-week lead time) in the New Forest, England by Jones Basses. Neck-through construction with carbon-fiber reinforcement, 24 Jescar 47095SS stainless frets on a 20" radius, 3000-year-old Bog Oak and walnut headstock veneers, Jones 18mm brass bridge, Gotoh GB350 Res-o-lite tuners, Jones MicroSet nut, and a hand-rubbed oil & wax finish.
