Ulrich Bass' Retro 57 - a bass based on the instruments, cars and lifestyle of the 1950s, with a classical-guitar-inspired slotted headstock and a magnetic electronic control plate. 4- or 5-string, 34" scale, bolt-on 1-piece maple neck with a 20-fret maple fingerboard, 2-piece alder/spruce/honduras-cedar body and Harry Häussel pickups in P-, J-, MM-style or combined. Handcrafted in a small workshop in Germany. Price on request.
