headless. Overload Guitars' Achilles - the flagship headless multiscale bass, offered in several tiers (Element, Era, BC, Mark II and a fully bespoke Custom). The Element is light and simple with an Italian chestnut body and roasted-ash neck; the Era is a 5-string 'war machine' aimed at metal players, with an ash body, flamed-maple/wenge neck with carbon reinforcements, a slate-stone top, dark anthracite finish and gold hardware. Richlite fingerboard with stainless-steel frets, handmade pickups and Overload's proprietary headless tuning system. The multiscale fingerboard keeps tension stable on the low strings for low tunings. Handmade in Italy. Price on request.
