About the Kingston Z

MTD Kingston Series (2026), the flagship Kingston, import line with final QC and setup in Kingston, NY. Alder body, asymmetrical roasted-maple neck with carbon-fiber reinforcement, roasted-maple/ebony/rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets, 35-inch scale. MTD split-coil pickups with active 3-band EQ (+/-6dB), top-loading Quick Release bridge, Hipshot Ultralite tuners, Buzz Feiten Tuning System. Borrows design elements from MTD's USA handmade instruments. 5- and 6-string.
