Phenolic fingerboard with a compound-radius composite surface, bi-directional relief-adjusting truss rod, side dot markers. Contoured double-cutaway alder body, satin finish. Pickups: Seymour Duncan Custom Shop MM. Controls: Bartolini NTBT active preamp (treble, bass). Hipshot B-Style bridge, Gotoh GB70 tuners (20:1). Ultra-light build — approx 6.5 lbs / 2.95 kg finished — using a chambered alder or ash body over a carbon-fibre sub-structure and a RevOLite neck shell. Modulus pioneered the carbon-fibre bass neck; the company builds to order in the United States at roughly four instruments a month and sells through PlanetBass.com. Street price starts at $4,899.
