4-string · Bolt-on
Telecaster-style 4-string bass, built P-style (a single split-coil P pickup) or with a P/J pickup layout (split-coil P at the neck plus a single-coil J at the bridge). Custom-built to order in Edinburgh, Scotland by Chris McIntyre (McIntyre Guitars). Bolt-on Fender-style construction with a maple neck (flamed or birdseye and carbon-fibre-reinforced options), custom tonewoods (e.g. flamed swamp ash), and a wide options list: bookmatched tops, figured-maple fingerboards, custom-wound pickups, coil-tap switching, piezo bridge, LEDs, custom inlays and gold hardware. Standard 4-string from GBP 2,500; other configurations quoted on request.
