JCR's ST-shape bass in 4- and 5-string; e.g. ST4 Poplar Burl, ST5 LM. Hand-built in Spain by JCR Luthier (20+ years' experience; 5-year warranty). Premium exotic tops (black limba, buckeye burl, ziricote, zebrano, poplar burl, eucalyptus pommele, redwood, walnut, pau ferro), mahogany or select bodies, multi-laminate carbon-reinforced necks (bird's-eye maple/zebrawood/wenge), Ebony Macassar fingerboards, 34" (or 35") scale, stainless-steel frets, Delano or Nordstrand pickups, Trickfish/3-band preamps, Hipshot or Schaller bridges. Highly configurable; ~4 kg (Ultralite options lighter). About EUR 2,450-4,300 ($2,646-4,644).
