hollow body. 32" short-scale, chambered/hollow alder body (~6 lbs) with a fully hand-carved spruce top, inside and out, and a carved thumb rest. Fishman custom-made piezo bridge pickup with an ebony bridge; passive piezo output with optional external preamps. Removable magnetic TonePort sound port, Hipshot Ultralite tuners, carnauba wax finish. Top-wood options: Sitka spruce, local Hudson Valley spruce, or 800+ year-old reclaimed redwood (all $4,495), or premium figured maple ($5,495, new 2025). Rosewood or ebony fingerboard; fretless available. Hand-signed and numbered by builder Stuart Spector (founder of Spector) at Esopus Guitars in Mount Tremper, NY, in the Catskill Mountains; 90-120 day build.
