Curtin Smith Guitars' Southland - the maker's favourite bass, hand-built in Australia and inspired by Australian iconography (Uluru). Offered as the Southland 4, 4F, 5 and 5F: 4- or 5-string, fretted or fretless (unlined with side dots), with customer choice of a 30"-35" scale, select tonewoods and fret size (narrow/medium/jumbo) on a flat 20" radius fingerboard. Turner Pickups Gordo Duo (or LeCompte) with a 'Grease Bucket' tone control and 4-way rotary selector, and a Guyker ultralight aluminum bridge.
