Short-scale (30") offset 4-string with an alder body, quarter-sawn roasted-maple neck and an ebony fingerboard (20 Jescar frets) - the builder chose ebony for the subtle tonal character it adds. A Curtis Novak pickup combo (BS-DS + Gold Foil) runs passively to volume, tone and a 3-way switch; Hipshot bridge, Kluson tuners, 1.50" bone nut, parchment pickguard, brown cupcake knobs and aged hardware. Hand-built in Riverside, California by Carlos Lopez of Castedosa Guitars (ex-Fender Custom Shop Master Builder, est. 2022); the Conchers models are named after Carlos's late grandfather.
